One of Oklahoma's federally protected part is Chickasaw National Recreation area and is home to many wildlife and has 4,500 areas of beautiful protected land. Oklahoma is the home of the Choctaw Indian nation which has settled in the state since the state was formed.
Oklahoma is a big producer of natural gas, aircraft and food. In agriculture wheat is a big producer for the economy. Cattle production is also very big in Oklahoma. They produce 5.5 % of Americas beef.
Many wonderful state parks are open to visiters including Alabaster Caverns state park and enjoy exploring caves or Arrowhead state park which has Arrowhead Golf Coarse. Beaver Dunes state park and is perfect for hiking, camping and just relaxing. If your into fishing Bernice state park is the place to go. Bass, Catfish are plentiful.
If you would like to attend a music festival the Oklahoma Mozart festival is the place to be. This is one of the largest classical music festivals in the southern states. The university of Oklahoma and Oklahoma state University are the states biggest colleges. These colleges are ranked as one of the best undergraduate programs in the U.S.
